Tarapur atomic power plants are safe
The Nuclear Power Corporation of India has declared that the Tarapur atomic power plants (TAPP) are safe and that there has been no occurrence of any incident leading to potential radioactive release. The 540 MW unit four of the TAPP was shut down for maintenance of solenoid valves, motors and some other components of fuelling machines.
