Uninterrupted power supply for Punjab

Punjab, with its recently upgraded and improved distribution network and adequate availability of power, will now provide eight-hour power supply to the farm sector and uninterrupted power supply to other categories of consumers during the summer season.The state, under the ongoing Revised Accelerated Power Development and Reforms Programme (RAPDRP), has built two new 66 kV sub-stations at Fountain Chowk and Basant Avenue, while another 66 kV sub-station is being erected in Sarabha Nagar.
