Electricity consumers in Gujarat's Valsad district are facing power outages as the power supply sub-divisions are overburdened beyond its capacity. Shortage of maintenance staff is cited as the main reason for the inability to provide satisfactory services to nearly 134 villages, which are linked with 900 km long main line, especially during the monsoons.
