Accord Transformer Wins Orders For 17 Power Transformers

Accord Transformer & Switchgear Limited (Accord Transformer & Switchgear) has received two purchase orders from Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Limited (Megha Engineering) for the supply of transformers aggregating Rs 96.91 million (mn) including GST. The orders, placed under two purchase order references, comprise amounts of approximately Rs 18.10 mn and Rs 78.80 mn respectively. The company indicated the orders were received in the ordinary course of business and disclosed the matter under Listing Regulations. The announcement was submitted to the stock exchange in accordance with regulatory requirements.

The orders consist of commercial supplies of 11 kV and 22 kV power sub?station transformers to support electric vehicle charging station development projects. The aggregate quantity is 17 transformers, configured as 15 x 2000 kVA and two x 2500 kVA across the two purchase orders. Delivery locations are domestic and the contracting party is a domestic entity. The company identified the nature of the orders as commercial supply contracts.

Price is firm and fixed with 100 per cent payment through an irrevocable 60?days Usance Letter of Credit. Deliveries are scheduled between 31.10.2026 for PO 4500111258 and 31.03.2027 for PO 4500111257, with manufacturing clearance and drawing approval gating production. Delivery lead time is six to eight weeks from manufacturing clearance or drawing approval and pre?dispatch inspection and testing apply. Liquidated damages are 0.5 per cent per week of delay capped at 5 per cent and warranty extends for 60 months from commissioning and 66 months from receipt.

The order value on a basic basis is Rs 82.12 mn with IGST at 18 per cent amounting to Rs 14.78 mn, resulting in an invoice value including GST of Rs 96.91 mn. The company confirmed there is no interest of the promoter, promoter group or group companies in the contracting entity and the contracts do not constitute related party transactions. Dispute resolution is by arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 with venue and jurisdiction at Hyderabad. The company requested the exchange to take the disclosure on record.
