EMS bags order worth Rs 1.4 bn from Uttarakhand Power

EMS announced that it had received a letter of award (LoA) from Uttarakhand Power Corporation for the development of distribution infrastructure-loss reduction works at EDC Dehradun rural Circle. According to EMS, the project was awarded under a reformed and results-linked distribution sector scheme. The order includes the supply of plant equipment, encompassing design, engineering, manufacturing, testing, transportation, insurance, installation, and other related services, along with a contract for installation services for the execution of the development of distribution infrastructure. The value of the aforementioned order is approximately Rs 1.41 billion, wherein EMS will hold a 95% share in partnership with another joint venture partner.
