Amplus Solar’s first Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS) project in Rajasthan
Amplus Solar is commissioning its pioneering 360 MWp inter-state transmission system (ISTS) solar plant, Project Jai, in Bikaner, Rajasthan. The state-of-the-art solar facility, equipped with the latest available solar technology, including bi-facial modules, single-axis trackers and 100 per cent robotic cleaning systems, epitomises its commitment to innovation and sustainability. Notably, the implementation of robotic cleaning system at Project Jai is projected to reduce the consumption of water for panel cleaning at the plant by up to 50 million litres per year, demonstrating its dedication to environmental stewardship.
Amplus operational plants are expected to generate 22 billion units of electricity over their lifetime. The CO2 abatement over the lifetime of these projects amounts
to 21 million MT and the environmental impact can also be equated to 24 million mature trees absorbing CO2 for 40 years.
