Jio-BP and Citroen India collaborate to construct EV infrastructure

In order to develop EV infrastructure and services across its network, Citroen India established a strategic cooperation with Jio-BP, a fuels and mobility joint venture between Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) and BP. Jio-BP will be able to gradually instal DC fast chargers at important Citroen dealerships and workshops around the nation thanks to the cooperation. To encourage further consumer acceptance of EVs, these chargers will also be accessible to all EV car owners.

According to a news statement from the firm, “This cooperation will ensure Jio-charging BP's infrastructure network is accessible via the My Citroen Connect app, as the New Citroen e-C3 All Electric is set to launch in Q1 2023”. Under the Jio-BP pulse brand, it currently manages a network of EV charging and swapping stations that is continuously increasing. Through its mobile app, clients can easily find EV charging stations in their area and take advantage of other Jio-BP pulse services, including digital payments.
