NDMC unveils draft solar policy 2022
The policy will be applicable to any solar-generating system with the capacity of 1 kilowatt per hour or more. The civic body will provide the facility for net/reverse metering — supplying excess electricity to the grid — that will substantially reduce consumers’ electricity bills. NDMC will also offer exemption from the payment of electricity tax and cess, and conversion charges to people.
