NTPC Green Starts 75.5 MW At Khavda-I Solar Project

NTPC Green Energy has begun commercial operations of 75.5 MW at its Khavda-I Solar PV Project in Gujarat. The project forms part of a larger 1,255 MW development under the CPSU scheme. With this commissioning, the company’s total installed capacity has risen to 7,639.075 MW, further strengthening its renewable energy portfolio.

The firm posted a 130.25 per cent rise in consolidated net profit to Rs875.9 million in Q2 FY26, compared with Rs380.4 million in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations increased 21.52 per cent year-on-year to Rs6.12 billion for the quarter ended 30 September 2025.

Shares of NTPC Green Energy slipped 0.05 per cent to Rs98.15 on the BSE.
