PowerGrid Awards Rs 860 Million OPGW Supply Order to Advait

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited has awarded a project worth Rs 860 million to Advait Energy Transitions Limited for the supply and installation of optical ground wire (OPGW) and communication equipment across India.

The order, accepted on May fourteen, covers Package OPGW-04 under bulk implementation. It includes both supply and erection of transmission line infrastructure at various locations nationwide.

Advait Energy Transitions Limited, formerly known as Advait Infratech Limited, confirmed the project award through a regulatory filing. The scope involves delivering and installing OPGW links and communication systems for PowerGrid’s national network upgrade.

Each link under this package is scheduled for completion within twelve months from the issuance of lot-wise implementation instructions. The contract falls under the Ministry of Power’s broader modernisation and connectivity enhancement initiatives.

The project highlights Advait’s role in India's evolving power infrastructure sector, supporting nationwide transmission upgrades through reliable and timely delivery.
