SUGS Lloyd Receives Rs. 2.13 bn Punjab Power Contract

SUGS Lloyd has received a Letter of Award dated 21 September 2026 from Marshal Enterprises for power distribution infrastructure works in Punjab valued at approximately Rs. 2.13 bn, including GST. The works are scheduled for completion within 15 months from the date of the award.

The contract covers balance supply and installation works for low-tension (LT) and high-tension (HT) infrastructure loss reduction projects under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS). It includes Faridkot Circle, covering Moga District, with an award value of approximately Rs. 898.8 mn, and Gurdaspur Circle, covering Pathankot District, valued at approximately Rs. 1.24 bn.

The underlying projects were originally awarded to Marshal Enterprises by Punjab State Power Corporation (PSPCL). SUGS Lloyd will execute the remaining works as a subcontractor on a back-to-back basis, with the Letter of Award confirming PSPCL’s approval of the company’s appointment. The scope includes the supply of plant and materials, installation, supervision, testing and commissioning, along with the deployment of required manpower, machinery and equipment.

Execution will follow the specifications, quality standards and milestones established under the main contracts. The award is expected to strengthen SUGS Lloyd’s order book and provide revenue visibility during the execution period, while expanding its presence in Punjab’s power distribution market. The projects are intended to reduce distribution losses and improve the electricity network in the covered areas.

SUGS Lloyd, based in Noida, undertakes electrical and power infrastructure activities, including the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of electrical systems. Its work involves materials, equipment, manpower and site supervision delivered in line with customer specifications and contractual requirements. The company said the award would support timely mobilisation, quality execution and the development of credentials for future power distribution projects.
