SUGS Lloyd to Execute Rs. 89 mn Solar Project at Golden Temple

SUGS Lloyd has received a Letter of Award (LOA) dated September 28, 2026, from Sachkhand Sri Harmander Sahib, Sri Darbar Sahib, Sri Amritsar, popularly known as the Golden Temple, for a 2 MW (AC) ground-mounted solar power project. The award was issued under the management of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), Amritsar, and communicated to the company by email on September 28.

The project will be developed at Gurdwara Gurusar Patshahi Chhevi, Satlani Sahib, Hoshiar Nagar, Sri Amritsar. SUGS Lloyd will be responsible for the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the facility, with the contract covering the project’s principal delivery and implementation stages. The award is from a domestic entity and relates to work being executed in India.

The contract also includes an all-inclusive Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract (CAMC) for 10 years after completion. The project is scheduled to be executed by December 31, 2026, while remaining miscellaneous works are to be completed within five months from the date of issuance of the LOA. The total consideration is Rs. 89 mn, inclusive of GST and the 10-year maintenance arrangement.

The disclosure identified the order as an execution contract rather than an international engagement. It covers both the construction phase and post-completion upkeep, with maintenance obligations extending for the stated period. The company disclosed the award to the stock exchange under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

SUGS Lloyd said neither its promoter group nor group companies have any interest in the awarding entity. The contract does not fall within related party transactions, according to the disclosure.
