Waaree Wins Rs 1.14 Bn Solar EPC Contract

Waaree Renewable Technologies announced on Friday that it has secured a Rs 1.14 billion contract to set up a solar power project under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0, backed by a major renewable energy company.

According to a regulatory filing, the scope of the project includes engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC), along with operation and maintenance (O&M) of a 94 MW AC / 131.6 MW DC solar plant.

The project is expected to be completed during financial year 2025–26 as per the terms outlined in the Letter of Award.

This order marks a key milestone for Waaree’s growing portfolio in state-backed renewable energy initiatives and reinforces its position in India's solar infrastructure landscape.
