NTPC to construct, operate energy plant at Samgauli in Mohali

The Punjab Government will hand over the construction and operations of the waste-to-energy plant to the National Thermal Power Corporation, which will come up at Samgauli village.
The plant will produce energy from waste, thereby contributing significantly to the implementation of the State Action Plan on
Climate Change.
