Delhi International Airport (DIAL) told the media that the Delhi Airport has decided to replace all its airport vehicles with electric vehicles (EVs) in the next four months for its airside operations under the Green Transportation Program, targeting to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions annually from airport operations. The plan is to install 62 EVs at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport's airside, including the runway, taxiway, and apron during the arrival and departure of flights. It will help reduce about 1,000 tonne of GHG emissions per year. Contact: Delhi International Airport Limited Website: www.newdelhiairport.in
