CM announces Rs 17.76 billion development projects in Guwahati

Himanta Biswa Sarma, Chief Minister, Assam, has laid the foundation stone for seven infrastructure projects totalling Rs 17.76 billion in the state's capital, including a new Raj Bhavan and Guwahati Police Commissioner's office. The new Raj Bhavan will cost Rs 410.32 million to construct and take 18 months. Further, he also laid the cornerstone for the new Police Commissionerate's building.
