These tenders span 376 project owners and cover critical sectors such as Roads & Highways, Water Supply, Healthcare, Education, and Wastewater. This surge in procurement activity highlights the growing pace of infrastructure development in India, presenting significant contracting opportunities for stakeholders aligned with the country’s growth agenda. In August 2025, IMPACCT tracked 495 infrastructure tenders lined up as 3–6 month opportunities, involving 170 project owners and a cumulative tender value of Rs196 crore, with  Rs 81 crore currently in active bidding stages. These upcoming opportunities span sectors such as Roads & Highways, Consultancy Services, Government Buildings, Survey Works, and Industrial Projects. This steady buildup of tenders reflects robust planning and procurement momentum across India’s infrastructure ecosystem, providing valuable entry points for contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders in the near future.       In August 2025, IMPACCT tracked over 50 conceptual and proposed projects across India, with a cumulative investment pipeline surpassing Rs 3.5 lakh crore. Projects are distributed across key states such as Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, and Odisha, with significant participation from major players like Reliance, Adani, Mahindra, and L&T. A significant urban development plan for Nagpur, including a new city and ring road, was also approved. India’s 4th central agricultural university to be set up in Sambalpur, Odisha - The Government of Odisha has proposed the establishment of a Central Agricultural University in Sambalpur, which, if realised, would become India’s fourth such institution under the Central Agricultural University Act, 1992. Chaired by Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, the meeting emphasised that the university would focus on producing globally competitive graduates and postgraduates in agriculture and allied sciences. The centre, supported by a US$ 5 million investments over five years, focuses on supply chain modelling, algorithms, and technology research. It aims to develop innovations in carbon-neutral operations, autonomous delivery systems, and electric vehicle infrastructure. The centre also promotes interdisciplinary projects on predictive analytics and AI-driven safety. With its initiatives, the centre has already engaged over 3,000 students and supported 17 new faculty proposals. Nabhastra lays foundation for medical drone manufacturing facility in Vizag - Nabhastra has laid the foundation for a cutting-edge Medical Drone Manufacturing Facility at the Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone (AMTZ) in Vizag, marking a significant leap in technological advancement. The ceremony, attended by key figures, highlights the region’s growing investment in healthcare innovation. The facility is set to enhance medical delivery systems using drones, with displayed drone models symbolizing the potential for transformative change. This development underscores Andhra Pradesh’s commitment to fostering innovation in the healthcare sector. APCRDA invites bidders for convention center development in Amaravati - The Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) has issued a tender for the development of convention centres in Amaravati, offering plots on a freehold basis. The plots are categorized by seating capacity: 2.5 acre for capacities of 10,000 pax or more, 2 acre for capacities between 7,500 and 10,000 pax, and 1 acre for capacities between 3,000 and 7,500 pax. These centres will be located near five-star hotels in Mandadam, Thullur, and Lingayapalem, aiming to enhance the city’s infrastructure and attract major events. The project aligns with the state’s vision to establish Amaravati as a business and tourism hub. Dawn of new projects: India’s Semiconductor Revolution - The India Semiconductor Mission (ISM) under the Semicon India Programme has approved 10 major semiconductor units across various states including Punjab, Gujarat, Assam, Odisha, and Andhra Pradesh, with a total investment of `622 crore supported by the Design Linked Incentive (DLI) scheme. Key projects include Continental Device India’s OSAT unit in Punjab (`118 crore, 250 jobs), Tata Semiconductor’s ATMP unit in Assam (`27,120 crore, 26,000 jobs), and Micron Semiconductor Technology in Gujarat (`22,516 crore, 20,000 jobs). India Chip, a HC-Foxconn JV, will establish a facility in Andhra Pradesh with an investment of Rs 3,706 crore, creating 4,000 jobs. NTPC to establish nuclear power plants in Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh - NTPC has secured land commitments from the state governments of Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh for the establishment of nuclear power plants. These projects will be the inaugural solo ventures undertaken by NTPC’s newly formed subsidiary, NTPC Parmanu Urja Nigam (NPUNL). The company is currently seeking assurances regarding water availability from these states, as nuclear reactors require substantial water resources for cooling purposes. Once these assurances are obtained, NTPC plans to initiate geotechnical studies on the designated sites. The proposed plants aim to contribute significantly to India’s nuclear energy capacity, aligning with the nation’s target of achieving 100 GW of nuclear power by 2047. UP government’s vision: Transforming Lucknow into India’s first AI city - The Uttar Pradesh government’s initiative to make Lucknow India’s first AI city is gaining momentum, with major tech players establishing a presence in the city. IBM has set up a software lab focusing on Generative AI and Agentic AI, while InMobi has opened a deep tech centre specializing in Generative AI, MLOps, automation, and large-scale AI infrastructure. Microsoft has also shown interest in the AI-focused IT park, further strengthening Lucknow’s position as a growing hub for technology and innovation. Upgradation and reconstruction of Sirmaur-Dabhaura section of NH-135B - The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has published a tender for the upgradation and reconstruction of the Sirmaur-Dabhaura section of NH-135B in Madhya Pradesh. The project involves converting the existing road from Km 36/700 to Km 73/813 into a two-lane configuration with a paved shoulder. The total tender value is Rs 233.85 crore, with an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs 2.34 crore and a document fee of Rs 35,400. The submission deadline for bids is 7th October 2025. The tender is available through the GeM-CPPP portal. Bridge & Roof Co. wins Rs 135 crore EPC contract for Keshod airport development in Gujarat - Bridge & Roof Co. has been declared the lowest bidder (L1) by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) for the development of Keshod Airport in Gujarat on an EPC basis. The Rs 135 crore project, to be completed in 1.5 years, includes construction of a new terminal building, ATC tower, and allied infrastructure. This follows an earlier contract awarded in April to SGI Group for taxiway construction and runway extension, marking a major step in upgrading the airport’s capacity and facilities. EPIC Group begins construction of Rs 376.85 crore apparel factory in Odisha - Hong Kong-based EPIC Group, a leading global apparel manufacturer, has commenced construction of its new manufacturing facility in Khordha, Odisha. With an investment of Rs 376.85 crore, the project is expected to generate around 7,050 jobs, boosting the state’s textile and garment sector while enhancing employment opportunities in the region. Cabinet clears Rs 4,250 crore special development packages for Assam & Tripura - The Union Cabinet has approved new components under the Special Development Packages for Assam and Tripura, with a total outlay of Rs 4,250 crore.
