The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has approved two road projects for Jammu and Kashmir with a budgetary allocation of Rs.33.97 billion. Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, has reportedly announced this decision on Twitter. Development work of 4/6-lane access control expressway from Kunjwani to Sidhra section of NH-44 and Domel to Katra district (Phase II-Package XVII) has been sanctioned under Bharatmala Pariyojana in Jammu and Kashmir with a budget outlay of Rs.25.74 billion, the tweet reportedly said.
