In the next three years, the Greater Noida Authority will construct its fifth Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) in Sector 1 of Greater Noida (west), with an installed capacity of 80 MLD. The project will cost Rs.600 mn, and it will be completed in four phases over three years, with the first phase delivering 20 MLD of water. STP treated water can be used for irrigation and construction on construction sites throughout the area and this will also reduce groundwater use.
