JCB to set up Rs 400 cr unit in Karnataka

JCB India, a construction equipment manufacturing entity, intends to set up a new manufacturing facility in Karnataka. Investment for the project is pegged at Rs 400 crore. Also, the company is in talks with the state government for land to locate the factory which is likely to be provided in Mangalore or Dharwad. JCB India has two units in Pune and one at Ballabgarh in Haryana. The company has invested Rs 600 crore in the past three years for the expansion of capacities in both places. Contact: JCB India.
