Rigar relocates construction crane at Barcelona

Grúas Rigar deployed one of its largest cranes - Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1 - to relocate a massive construction crane at the Sagrada Familia Basilica in Barcelona. Using 165 tonne of ballast and a 70 m luffing jib, it dismantled the crane and reassembled it at a different location. Rigar operates more than 40 cranes in its offices along the Mediterranean. Its work includes crane handling, heavy haulage and assembly of prefabricated concrete components. LTM 1500-8.1 is considered most successful large crane of all time. Contact: Grúas Rigar.
