Health Minister inspects housing schemes, school renovation

Mansukh Mandaviya, Minister for Health & Family Welfare of India, reviewed housing schemes, Nadu-Nedu school renovation, and National Rural Employment Guarantee Act 2005 (NRGEA) works in the Vizianagaram district of Andhra Pradesh.

He also visited Jagannath Housing Colony Layout in Rural Zone Gunkalam and conversed with the beneficiaries.

District Collector Suryakumari and Joint Collector Mayur Ashok informed the Minister of housing layout details. The Chairman of Zilla Parishad (ZP), Majji Srinivasa Rao, said that it is one of the biggest layouts in the state.

Rao said that the state government has been providing water, electricity, roads, etc., for constructing houses in the housing colonies.’

Suryakumari said that the houses had been sanctioned to 82,000 beneficiaries in the district.

Mandaviya said that the state is benefiting most from the housing program, which has been introduced by the central government.
