As many as 287 infrastructure projects worth Rs 150 crore or more each, including those delayed due to various issues, have seen a cost overrun of Rs 1.66 lakh crore. The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation tracks such projects on time and cost overruns through its online computerisation monitoring system.
