Hindustan Sanitaryware and Industries Ltd (HSIL) has unveiled expansion projects involving an investment of Rs 300 crore, that will see augmentation of the ceramic manufacturing capacity at its Gujarat plant and container glass making base near Hyderabad and consolidation of its recently acquired Tap division of Havells.The company is investing Rs 200 crore in the building products division, including ceramic products. The capacity will go up from 2.8 mn units a year to 5 mn units a year by next year end.
