NPGC awards Rs 357 cr contract to Era Infra

Nabinagar Power Generating Company (NPGC), which is a Joint Venture (JV) between NTPC and Bihar State Electricity Board, awarded a Rs 357 crore contract to Era Infra Engineering (EIEL). In a communication to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the Delhi-based EIEL said the contract is for supply of steam generator (SG) and offsite civil works package for Nabinagar Super Thermal Power Project. NPGC is setting up the 1,980 megawatt (mw) Nabinagar power plant with three units of 660 mw each in Aurangabad district in Bihar.
