Six lakh new homes for Pune in 20 years

Pune will need over six lakh new houses over the next decade. Currently there are around eight lakh residential properties and 75,000 non- residential properties, and around 24,000 open plots. The PMC has undertaken initiatives such as incentive FSI to promote composite redevelopment by landlords, cooperative housing societies of landlords, occupiers or developers of two or more plots.
