Similarly, concept-based homes or themed villas, priced at between Rs 1.5-3.5 crore, are emerging as the latest trend. The growing demand for housing units and the constraints on space have also induced Kerala builders to focus on building apartments. They are now offering top-of-the line fittings and life-style add-ons like clubs and swimming pools to apartment complexes to woo home makers. Some of the upcoming projects in Kerala include:

Acropolis: This project by Landmark builders at Calicut comprises seven towers having G+18 and G+23 floors of 2/3 BHK apartments and office spaces with several amenities. It is scheduled for completion by October 2014.

Hacienda: This project by Mather Projects at Aluva comprises a tower of G+22 floors with 2-4 BHK apartments.

Vrindavan: The residential tower developed by Kalpaka Builders Pvt Ltd at Edapally comprises a tower of G+14 floors with 84 apartments of 2/3 BHK.

Tiknar Voyage: This project by Tiknar Homes Pvt Ltd in Kochi comprises two towers of G+19 floors having 84 apartments of 2/3 BHK.
