UAE-based NRI-Emirati Investors Group will soon be raising $1 billion for financing infrastructural projects in India, according to reports. This fund is known to be the largest fund being collected by private investors for such a programme.
The announcement was made at the India-UAE partnership summit in Dubai by the Business-Leaders Forum (BLF) in collaboration with the Indian Consulate and Embassy. The BLF had formed the NRI-Emirati Investors Group.
India has received a slew of investments from UAE, including the recent investment by the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, maintaining that India is one of UAE’s best investment destinations.
