Blockchain technology-based energy plant 4NEW of Indian expat Varun Datta has secured two power plants in the UK for generating energy from waste. Every hour, the plant produces electricity of 10 MW. It leverages advanced technology of Anaerobic Digestion for the conversion of domestic waste into electricity, which is then supplied to the national grid of the UK. 4NEW in Q3 has launched onsite farm of crypto mining powered by the supply of electricity which assists in generation of Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Litecoin and other cryptocurrencies.
