Adani Airports, IHG Sign Five-Hotel India Deal

Adani Airport Holdings (AAHL) and IHG Hotels & Resorts have signed an agreement to develop five hotels across key airport-linked and urban destinations in India.

The portfolio will add nearly 1,500 rooms across Jaipur, Navi Mumbai, Mangaluru and Thiruvananthapuram, strengthening hospitality infrastructure around major aviation and commercial corridors.

The agreement also marks the India debut of Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, IHG’s luxury lifestyle boutique hotel brand. The portfolio will additionally include Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express hotels as part of upcoming airport city developments.

According to the companies, the hotels will be integrated within mixed-use developments linked to Adani Airports’ airport city projects.

Pranav Adani, Director, Adani Enterprises, said the partnership aligns with the Group’s strategy of developing integrated airport-led urban ecosystems combining aviation, hospitality, retail and commercial infrastructure.

Sudeep Jain, Managing Director, South West Asia, IHG Hotels & Resorts, said the agreement reflects growing demand across India’s hospitality sector, particularly in gateway cities and airport-linked developments driven by business, leisure and transit travel.

Adani Airport Holdings currently operates multiple airports across India and is developing airport city projects spanning around 663 acres.

IHG Hotels & Resorts presently operates 52 hotels across six brands in India and has a pipeline of 98 additional hotels expected to open over the next three to five years.
