Birla Estates Acquires 24.5 Acres in Thane’s Kalwa for ?537 Crore

Birla Estates, a subsidiary of the Aditya Birla Group, has finalized the acquisition of a 24.5-acre land parcel in Thane's Kalwa locality from Hindalco Industries for ?5.37 billion. The land sale was approved by Hindalco's board in July and has now been registered, with ?376.2 million paid in stamp duty.

This follows another significant acquisition by the Aditya Birla Group earlier this week, where Century Textiles secured a 10-acre land parcel in Mumbai's Worli locality for ?1,100 crore from Wadia Group Chairman Nusli Wadia.
