Cityscape to make India debut with Mumbai real estate expo in 2027

Cityscape, an international real estate investment platform, will make its India debut with Cityscape India, scheduled to be held from 16 to 18 April 2027 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. The event will bring together domestic and international developers, investors, government representatives and industry stakeholders.

With a presence in markets including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Manama, Cairo and Doha, Cityscape has a history spanning more than 25 years. Its India edition will focus on luxury real estate and investment, targeting high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), non-resident Indians (NRIs), institutional investors and premium homebuyers.

The inaugural edition is expected to bring together more than 40 developers and allied partners through an exhibition and conference programme. It will include an exhibition, investment roundtables, a buyer-developer meeting service and dedicated engagement for NRIs and institutional investors.

The exhibition will cover premium residential properties, integrated townships, sustainable and smart homes, commercial and mixed-use developments, retail, property technology, construction technology and financial services. The conference programme will focus on market trends, global mobility and portfolio diversification.

The launch comes amid growth in India's real estate market, which is projected to reach USD 1 trillion by 2030. Mumbai has been selected as the host city, with its position as the country's financial centre and a major luxury residential market. According to figures cited in the announcement, Mumbai's luxury residential segment recorded transactions worth Rs 185.12 billion in the first half of 2026, a 12 per cent year-on-year increase.

The announcement also highlighted activity in Navi Mumbai, where 13,617 home registrations were recorded. Property prices reportedly increased from Rs 14,800 to Rs 18,100 per sq ft, amid infrastructure developments including the new airport, Mumbai Trans Harbour Link and metro expansion.

Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director, Informa Markets in India, said rising affluence, investor sophistication and interest in premium assets had created an opportunity for an international platform such as Cityscape. He added that the event would connect developers, global capital and investors, while facilitating cross-border investment opportunities and partnerships.

Cityscape India will be held over three days at Jio World Convention Centre, Pavilion 3. Details of exhibitor participation are expected to be announced in due course.
