Godrej Properties Unveils India’s First 3D-Printed G+1 Villa in Pune

Godrej Properties (GPL) has introduced India’s first 3D-printed G+1 villa at Godrej Eden Estate, Maan Hinjewadi, Pune, in collaboration with Tvasta Engineering. This milestone in Indian real estate leverages cutting-edge 3D printing technology to redefine construction with enhanced efficiency, sustainability, and precision.

Constructed using additive manufacturing techniques, the villa showcases the potential of 3D printing in homebuilding. The project began in June 2024 and was completed within four months, highlighting the speed and efficiency of this technology. Built layer by layer using computer-generated designs and specialized materials, the structure reduces construction time, material waste, and labour costs while maintaining high durability and design accuracy.

Key Features of the 3D-Printed Villa

  • Architectural Innovation: The villa’s organic, fluid form enhances structural integrity and aesthetics.
  • Energy Efficiency: Designed to maximize natural light, reducing energy consumption.
  •  Unique Staircase Design: A sculptural alternative to conventional straight staircases.
  • Nature-Inspired Design: Flowing lines integrate seamlessly with the surroundings.
  • Distinct Exterior Pattern: The layered façade highlights the precision of 3D printing, giving the villa a futuristic look.
This development paves the way for broader adoption of 3D printing in Indian real estate, promoting smarter and more sustainable urban living.

Vikas Singhal, Chief Operating Officer, Godrej Properties, said, "At Godrej Properties, we are committed to pushing the boundaries of innovation, and sustainability in real estate. The unveiling of India’s first 3D-printed villa at Godrej Eden Estate is a testament to our vision of pioneering futuristic, efficient, and eco-friendly construction methods. 3D printing has the potential to transform homebuilding by making it faster, more precise, significantly more sustainable, and incorporates energy-efficient features that reduce the project’s environmental impact. We are proud to introduce this technology to the Indian real estate sector and look forward to exploring its further applications in the future."
