Landmark Group Raises Rs. 3.3 bn for Gurugram Project

Landmark Group has secured Rs. 3.3 bn in construction finance from the State Bank of India (SBI) for Landmark One, its upcoming commercial project on Golf Course Extension Road in Gurugram. The funding will support construction and help the developer maintain progress on the commercial development.

Sandeep Chhillar, chairman of Landmark Group, said the financing represented an important milestone for Landmark One and reflected SBI’s confidence in the project and the developer. He added that the facility would provide a strong foundation for construction and support continued execution.

Landmark One is planned as a Grade A+ commercial development designed by Sohrab Dalal, co-founder of DPA. The project will have floor plates of approximately 100,000 sq. ft., 49 high-speed elevators and 11 levels of parking. It will also include a dedicated amenity zone called The Hub, with conference facilities, a wellness centre and food and beverage offerings.

The project’s design includes a climate-responsive façade, biophilic sky terraces, rainwater harvesting, advanced air filtration and solar integration. Landmark One is pursuing Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design and Indian Green Building Council certifications. The development will be connected to business and transport hubs including AeroCity and the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, while Cyber City and Indira Gandhi International Airport will be within driving distance.

India’s office sector recorded absorption of approximately 66.4 mn sq. ft. during the January-September period of 2026, the highest total for any nine-month period, according to CBRE South Asia’s India Office Figures report for Q3 2026. Absorption increased 8 per cent year-on-year. Global Capability Centres leased approximately 8.7 mn sq. ft. during the quarter, taking nine-month absorption to a record 28 mn sq. ft. and accounting for 42 per cent of overall leasing. GCC take-up rose 16 per cent year-on-year, with Hyderabad and Bengaluru leading quarterly activity.
