Ohana Development, a UAE-based real estate developer known for its luxury residential portfolio, has signed an agreement with Manchester City F.C. to develop a multi-billion-dirham branded residential project in Abu Dhabi. The collaboration will see the launch of Manchester City Yas Residences by Ohana, a first-of-its-kind community located along the Yas Canal waterfront.

The project spans approximately 1.67 million square metres and is positioned as a premium lifestyle development that blends Manchester City’s global brand identity with Ohana Development’s contemporary design philosophy. The partnership underscores a shared focus on excellence, innovation and long-term value creation, while reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s growing stature as a global hub for world-class real estate developments.

According to the companies, the development reinterprets Manchester City’s heritage and international appeal within a modern residential framework, aligning the club’s forward-looking ethos with Ohana’s vision for future-ready communities. The project is expected to contribute to the evolving lifestyle and residential landscape of Yas Island, one of Abu Dhabi’s key destination districts.

Commenting on the partnership, Husein Salem, CEO, Ohana Development, said, “Partnering with Manchester City marks a significant milestone for Ohana Development and reflects our long-standing commitment to Abu Dhabi, where we are proudly headquartered. The club’s global stature, forward-looking vision and modern outlook closely align with our ambition to create future-ready communities that contribute to the emirate’s evolving lifestyle landscape.”

Ferran Soriano, Chief Executive Officer, City Football Group, described the initiative as a landmark collaboration that brings Manchester City into a premium residential setting through a distinctively club-branded concept. “Ohana Development is highly regarded for working with leading global brands and translating their influence into high-end, design-driven residential experiences,” he said, adding that the partnership will leverage the club’s global reach and strong regional footprint.
