Hablis Hotels opens 4-star hotel in Chennai

Hablis Hotels, which launched its 120-room hotel in Chennai on June 12 targeting business travellers, is now planning to develop or manage hotels in various cities across the country. This is the firm's first project under the Hablis brand. Further, the firm would look at setting up or managing more hospitality projects in the similar category.

Primarily, its focus has been on providing the comfort of a five-star hotel within the four-star category, said Rajesh, Managing Director of Hablis Hotels.

The company has set up the hotel with an investment of around Rs 68 crore, and is expecting its Chennai hotel to be on full steam in the next six months. As part of its business plans, Hablis is also looking to develop new hotels on its land bank in Coimbatore and Bangalore.
