For someone who preferred staying in the shadows during her husband’s stewardship, Jyotsna Suri, Chairperson and Managing Director, Bharat Hotels Ltd, is today applauded for her skillful leadership and her commitment towards championing the cause of the industry. She has, in a short span of three years, not only ensured the rapid completion of theseven hotel projects, but also taken the group international - with two major projects coming up in Dubai and Thailand. In November 2008, Suri charted a path breaking and highly successful brand change or the company. Today, all the luxury hotels, under The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group, are operated under ‘THE LALIT’ banner - as a tribute to the company’s Founder Chairman Lalit Suri.
