Amara Raja Posts 8% Revenue Rise in Q2 FY26

Amara Raja Energy & Mobility reported an 8 per cent rise in revenue for Q2 FY26, supported by strong OEM demand in the four-wheeler and two-wheeler segments, improved performance in its lubes division, and higher realisations from exports. The company posted a profit before tax of Rs 4 billion, with earnings per share at Rs 16.52. Growth in the new energy business was led by the telecom segment.

The company remains focused on expanding its cell manufacturing capabilities, with its Customer Qualification Plant expected to become operational by Q4 of this financial year. Senior leadership noted that despite global trade and tariff challenges, the automotive lead-acid business continued to deliver solid results.
