Andhra Pradesh Clears New Logistics Infrastructure Agency

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has approved the creation of the Andhra Pradesh Logistics Infrastructure Corporation (AP-LInC), a new nodal agency designed to strengthen and streamline logistics across the state.

The decision was taken during a review meeting at the State Secretariat on Tuesday. AP-LInC will function as a government-led holding company, integrating five key sectors — ports, airports, roads, inland waterways and warehouses — to reduce logistics costs and attract large-scale investment.

The corporation will be responsible for implementing, coordinating and monitoring logistics infrastructure projects throughout Andhra Pradesh. It will be headed by a Managing Director and supported by senior departmental officials, an advisory committee and district-level cells to ensure effective execution across regions.

According to officials, the establishment of AP-LInC marks a significant step towards building a more efficient, interconnected logistics ecosystem that can boost economic activity and enhance competitiveness for industries operating in the state.
