B.R.Goyal Infrastructure Bags Rs 390 mn NHAI Order

B.R.Goyal Infrastructure (the company) has said it received a work order worth Rs 390 mn from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for engagement of a user fee agency at Husnapur Toll Plaza in Maharashtra. The contract was awarded through an e-tender and covers operation of the user fee agency on the Yavatmal-Wardha section of National Highway 361. The company specified the location at kilometre 443.000 and said the covered stretch runs from chain kilometre 400.575 to chain kilometre 465.500.

The scope of the order includes upkeep and maintenance of adjacent toilet blocks and replenishment of consumable items, and the work is to be executed within one year. The filing to the exchange stated the contract does not constitute a related-party transaction and that neither promoters nor promoter group members have any interest in the order. The company also indicated it will carry out the duties in accordance with the terms set by the authority.

B.R.Goyal Infrastructure is engaged in construction of roads, highways, bridges and buildings and described the contract as part of its operations in toll and infrastructure services. For FY26 the consolidated net profit rose 78 per cent year-on-year to Rs 448.2 mn while consolidated net sales grew 13.4 per cent to Rs 8.2032 bn compared with FY25. The company said these figures reflect operational performance across its project portfolio.

Shares of the company responded on the BSE, where the counter advanced 4.42 per cent to Rs 198.40 on the day of the announcement. The order is scheduled to be completed within one year and the company will proceed with mobilisation and compliance activities as required. Market observers noted the deal is modest in size relative to larger road contracts but adds to the company's recurring operations.
