Bridgestone India Opens Two Select Stores in Guwahati

Bridgestone India has opened two new Bridgestone Select Stores in Guwahati, further strengthening its retail footprint in Assam. The stores were inaugurated by Rajiv Sharma, Executive Director, Sales & Marketing, Bridgestone India. Kamrup Tyres is located at 89 No. Dadara Gaon Panchayat, Damdama-Kulhati Road and The Wheelz Shoppe was opened near Jaiswal Weigh Bridge, Boragaon on NH-37.

Bridgestone Select Stores are designed to offer customers a complete tyre and wheel care experience under one roof, combining premium products with expert guidance and modern equipment. Services at the new outlets will focus on safety, comfort and long term performance while enabling easier access to trusted products and support. Company representatives indicated that the openings reflect a commitment to building long term relationships with motorists in the region.

The newly opened stores will offer Bridgestone’s latest premium tyre range, including Turanza 6i developed with ENLITEN technology for enhanced comfort, efficiency and electric vehicle readiness, and Dueler All Terrain A/T002 aimed at dependable performance across on road and off road conditions. Both outlets are intended to serve as convenient one stop destinations for passenger vehicle owners in and around Guwahati. The expansion responds to growing demand for reliable and high quality tyre solutions in the region.

Bridgestone India began operations in 1996 and set up a manufacturing facility in Kheda in 1998, followed by an additional plant in Chakan, Pune in 2013. The Indore plant rolled out its 100 mn tyre in 2023 and in a short span of more than 25 years the company has become one of the leading tyre companies in both the original equipment and replacement markets.
