De Neers Appoints Sudhir Malhotra as Automotive Advisor

De Neers, an Indian manufacturer of professional hand tools and insulated tools, has appointed automotive industry veteran Sudhir Malhotra as Strategic Advisor – Automotive & Future Mobility.

The appointment aims to strengthen De Neers’ engagement with the automotive and future mobility sectors, which the company identifies as key growth areas alongside its existing industrial and professional tool businesses.

With over three decades of experience, Sudhir Malhotra brings expertise across workshop operations, aftersales, dealer network development, sales, marketing and business leadership. His experience includes understanding OEM requirements, dealer ecosystems and evolving needs across the mobility value chain.

Neeraj Agarwal, Managing Director, De Neers, said the company aims to leverage Sudhir’s automotive ecosystem experience to strengthen relationships with OEMs and dealers while expanding its presence in the sector.

In his advisory role, Sudhir will work with De Neers’ leadership team on OEM and dealer engagement, product strategy aligned with emerging vehicle technologies and the development of EV-specific tooling solutions.

The move is part of De Neers’ broader strategy to support the changing requirements of the automotive industry and contribute to the future mobility ecosystem.
