Enerpac Launches Safer Industrial Lifting Solutions in India

Enerpac has introduced its CR-Series Cribbing Ring Sets and TJP-Series 30-Ton Hydraulic Toe Jack in India, expanding its range of precision lifting solutions for manufacturing, infrastructure and energy applications.

The products are designed to improve safety, control and efficiency during heavy lifting, load holding and machine-moving operations.

The CR-Series Cribbing Ring Sets provide an engineered alternative to improvised cribbing methods such as wooden blocks and steel plates. Their interlocking design offers predictable and mechanically secured load support for applications including transformer installation, bridge bearing replacement and stage-lighting operations.

A detachable fork allows operators to position and rotate U-Rings and spacers without placing their hands close to the suspended load. The series is available in CR30, CR50 and CR100 variants, covering lifting capacities ranging from 30 to 150 tonnes.

Enerpac has also launched the TJP308 Hydraulic Toe Jack for lifting and moving heavy machinery such as CNC and VMC machines in confined areas with limited ground clearance.

Made from aluminium, the jack weighs 80 kg and offers a lifting capacity of 30 tonnes. It features a 200 mm stroke, an adjustable three-position tilting toe, foldable side legs and solid rubber wheels for easier movement across industrial floors.

The jack is operated through a remote hydraulic pump, allowing workers to maintain a safer and more ergonomic position during lifting operations.

Anindya Pal, Director, Enerpac India, said the products were developed for industrial environments involving heavy loads, restricted spaces and critical lifting requirements.

He added that the solutions provide precise and controlled force, helping operators complete demanding lifting tasks safely and efficiently.

Land Reforms Could Unlock Urban Affordable Housing

Former cabinet secretary and NITI Aayog member Rajeev Gauba said India’s urban housing shortage could be tackled by unlocking 10 million (mn) vacant homes and using excess unutilised land held by public sector undertakings (PSUs). He said land availability lay at the heart of the problem and estimated that land accounted for as much as 50 to 70 per cent of total project cost. He urged states to waive land?use change fees and exempt stamp duty on land and transactions linked to affordable housing. He noted that urban population was projected to rise from 500 million to nearly 900 million by 2..
