Piyush Goyal addressed the India–Israel Business Forum and CEOs Forum, both of which witnessed strong participation from industry. More than 250 B2B meetings were held. The Minister underlined India’s significant potential for Israeli innovators, particularly in technology, agritech, water technology, defence, science and technology, fintech, AI, quantum computing, pharmaceuticals and space.
He also held discussions with leaders of major Israeli companies, including Check Point, IDE Technologies, NTA and Netafim, covering cybersecurity, desalination and wastewater solutions, metro and mobility systems, and precision agriculture. The visit included a tour of the Peres Center for Peace and Innovation, an autonomous-driving experience hosted by Mobileye, and an interaction at Kibbutz Ramat Rachel on community-led agriculture and rural development.
Piyush Goyal met members of the Indian business delegation, representatives from Indian and Israeli media, the diamond community and the Indian diaspora. He visited key cultural and historical sites, including the Israel Museum and the Indian Hospice. Minister Nir Barkat hosted a gala reception in his honour, followed by a community reception organised by the Embassy of India in Israel.
On the final day, Piyush Goyal briefed the President and the Prime Minister of Israel on the outcomes of the Business Forum and CEOs Forum and discussed expanding bilateral cooperation in agriculture, water, defence, cybersecurity, science, technology and innovation.
The accompanying Indian business delegation also undertook visits to the Peres Center for Peace & Innovation, Check Point, Sheba Hospital and an agricultural farm, gaining insights into Israel’s innovation strengths, cyber capabilities, medical leadership and sustainable farming practices.
The visit reaffirmed the commitment of both nations to deepen economic engagement, accelerate technology-driven collaboration and broaden partnerships across strategic sectors marking a significant step forward in the next phase of the India–Israel relationship.
