Jindal Stainless Named Official Partner Of Sunrisers Hyderabad

Jindal Stainless has entered a partnership with Sunrisers Hyderabad as the team’s Official Stainless Partner, marking the company’s debut association with the Indian Premier League. The collaboration forms part of a strategic push to expand brand visibility and to connect with younger consumers through a high-profile sporting platform. The company described the move as a means to showcase stainless steel applications across everyday and industrial contexts.

The agreement grants exclusive branding rights across key product segments including stainless steel pipes and tubes, stainless steel rebars, and stainless steel kitchenware and sinks, and provides for in-stadium visibility and matchday activations. The company also plans premium content featuring leading team sportspeople and full team imagery across digital platforms, while approved co-branded assets will be available to strategic partners. The partnership covers retail, trade and local market initiatives aimed at amplifying outreach.

Senior executives outlined that the tie-up seeks to build stronger consumer recall by combining a performance-driven sports franchise with a high-performance material proposition, and that the collaboration will support more relatable brand narratives during the sporting season. The company will leverage kiosks and activations on matchdays and will co-create content initiatives with the team’s official digital channels to drive engagement. The arrangement is intended to create long-term value for both brands and for the wider partner ecosystem.

Jindal Stainless reported an annual turnover of Rs 401,820 mn in FY25 and is ramping up facilities to reach four point two mn t of annual melt capacity in FY27, operating from 16 manufacturing and processing facilities and a worldwide network in 12 countries. The product range includes slabs, blooms, coils, plates, sheets, precision strips, wire rods, rebars, blade steel and coin blanks, and the company emphasised its use of scrap in electric arc furnaces to lower greenhouse gas emissions. Founded in 1970, the company continues to pursue innovation and sustainability as central pillars of its growth strategy.
