Kinetic Gains Traction For DX As Revenue And Retail Network Rise

Kinetic Engineering Limited and its electric arm Kinetic Watts and Volts reported updates after a board meeting in Pune on 29 May 2026 as the company outlined growing product acceptance and retail expansion. The company said consolidated revenue rose to Rs 1,580 million (mn), up from Rs 1,420 million (mn) in the previous year, while its auto components business recorded revenue of Rs 1,500 million (mn). The board noted increasing dealer activity and customer engagement as early indicators of market traction for the new electric model.

In a landmark recognition the Kinetic DX was adjudged the Viewer’s Choice – EV Scooter of the Year in an award presented by union minister Nitin Gadkari, which the company said signalled industry recognition. The model has received favourable feedback from automotive journalists, content creators and industry experts for its family focused design and practical innovations. Observers noted ride comfort, safety features and the blending of legacy aesthetics with modern electric technology as contributors to positive reception.

Kinetic Watts and Volts has established 20 dealerships across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi and Odisha and is accelerating retail coverage. The company plans to add over 30 additional dealerships during the April–June quarter of FY2026–27 to strengthen national reach and service readiness. Management emphasised focus on customer centric expansion and the development of a robust after sales network to support ownership and confidence in electric mobility.

At the meeting the board reviewed retail growth and reiterated priorities for market penetration and after sales infrastructure. It noted several new business opportunities in final stages that would supplement component and vehicle revenues. Vice chairman and managing director anticipated significant growth from business development and stronger customer relationships. The Kinetic DX is engineered for mobility and features two point six kWh Range-X LFP battery, metal body and 37 litre storage.
