KR Group Deploys Netradyne AI for Fleet Safety

Netradyne has reported improved driver safety outcomes across KR Group companies following the deployment of its AI-powered Driver-i platform across hazardous goods and passenger fleets in India.

The technology was implemented across KR Trans Fuels, KR Gases and KRT Carriers, which operate in LPG fuel distribution, ammonia gas haulage and intercity passenger transport. Results analysed after six months showed a 64 per cent reduction in driver distraction events, a 65 per cent decline in drowsiness alerts, 100 per cent speeding correction and more than 90 per cent reduction in mobile phone usage.

The Driver-i platform combines real-time in-cab audio coaching for risks such as speeding, distraction, unsafe following distance and drowsiness with GreenZone Score, a data-led framework that helps fleet managers monitor driver behaviour, coaching, recognition and accountability.

Suresh Kumar, MD and Owner, KR Trans Fuels, KR Gases and KRT Carriers, said the solution provided real-time visibility at the driver level and helped the group build a more preventive approach to safety.

KR Gases recorded 100 per cent speeding correction, while fleets achieved corrective action in 96 per cent of unsafe following-distance alerts. KR Trans Fuels reduced driver distraction by 64 per cent in three months and brought phone-use incidents down from 20–30 per day to one or two.

Netradyne said KR Group’s use of real-time video telematics and driver recognition could serve as a model for improving fleet safety across India and the wider APAC region.
