MK Stalin Lays Foundation for Rs 8230 million Broadway Transport Hub

M K Stalin recently laid the foundation stone for the Rs 8230 million Broadway multi-modal transport hub and complex in Chennai. The project is aimed at strengthening urban mobility and improving public transport integration in the city.
The development includes a nine-storey multi-modal facility complex along with a 10-storey commercial Kuralagam complex. The transport hub will feature 73 bus bays, passenger lounges, retail and office spaces, and dedicated parking facilities to support seamless commuter movement.
The foundation ceremony was attended by senior ministers, including K. N. Nehru, R. S. Rajakannappan and P. K. Sekar Babu, underscoring the state government’s focus on large-scale urban infrastructure development.
