Over 1,000 workers vaccinated in Noida, Greater Noida

Over 1,000 construction workers received their vaccination in Noida and Greater Noida, as the increasing cases of Omicron variant of Covid-19 threaten the recovering real estate sector.

The Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Associations of India (CREDAI) Western Uttar Pradesh set up a free vaccination drive for construction workers in Sector-150, Noida, at the project sites of ATS Group's Pristine Golf Villas, Kinston Health, Le Grandiose and Antriksh Golf City, while in Greater Noida West at ATS Happy Trails and Hawelia Group's Valenova Park.

CREDAI National Capital Region (NCR), along with HT Parekh Foundation and HDFC Capital, launched the free vaccination drive for construction workers and their families, facilitated by Felix Hospital in Noida and Greater Noida.

This drive will either provide a first or second dose of Covaxin or Covishield vaccine to over 5,000 workers working at various construction sites in Delhi-NCR.

President of CREDAI Western UP, Prashant Tiwari, said that the association focuses on the well-being of human resources in the real estate sector. The free vaccination drive is an initiative towards providing essential medical facilities to the construction workers and their families, leading to mass vaccination and safeguarding humans from the Covid-19 pandemic.

Officials are ensuring that the vaccination reaches the maximum number of workers in the real estate sector. Further, the drive is generating awareness on Covid-appropriate behaviours to reduce the risk of infection in testing times.

Many doctors and medical staff had been appointed at all the locations to check emergency cases or post-vaccination complications, strictly following the Covid-19 guidelines.
