Patel Retail Expands Indian Chaska Into Madhya Pradesh

Patel Retail Limited has expanded distribution of its flagship brand Indian Chaska into Madhya Pradesh, strengthening its domestic market presence. With this addition the brand is now available across eight states and one union territory and the move forms part of the group's strategy to build a pan-India distribution network. Patel Retail is a diversified retail and food processing company headquartered in Ambernath, Mumbai, combining modern retail formats with backward integration in agri-processing. The company is listed on the BSE and the NSE following an initial public offering in August 2025.

The company said it expects the expansion to strengthen channel presence, improve product availability and deepen market penetration while creating a platform for long-term growth. The move is intended to increase accessibility of Indian Chaska products through an expanded distribution network and to enhance brand visibility across existing and new retail channels. Management described the initiative as a step towards scaling operations in high-potential regional markets and improving retail reach. The company noted the expansion will support a scalable distribution ecosystem for future growth.

Prior to the Madhya Pradesh entry Indian Chaska was distributed in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, Delhi (UT), Goa and Bihar. Patel Retail operates food processing units in Dudhai, Gujarat and a facility in Ambarnath MIDC and maintains a network of 53 stores across the MMRDA region. The business connects customers via a mobile application that helps users locate their nearest store and access home delivery. These capabilities were cited as supporting factors for accelerated market expansion and supply reliability.

The chief executive officer Rahul Patel said the expansion is intended to bring the brand closer to consumers, strengthen relationships with distribution partners and make products more accessible across new geographies. He underlined a disciplined approach to expansion focused on quality, distribution capability and cost efficiency to deliver sustainable value to stakeholders. The company will continue to evaluate markets selectively while reinforcing its portfolio that includes Patel Fresh and Patel Essential alongside Indian Chaska. Management expects the distribution increase to underpin longer term growth.
